    Namaskar.

We are writing this eliciting your support and cooperation in bringing the much needed awareness on Conservation of environment.
After the scientific and industrial revolution in the recent past, there has been immense impact of man on his environment. Man has to fail to realize that any new factor upsets the balance of the ecosystems a Whole, the environment.
Huge industrial installations every year, introduction of the faster mode of transport, sprouting up large crowded cities (urbanization), changing the food habits, deforestation and decreasing the agricultural land.
The main outcomes of the modern civilization: wide spread use of insecticides, pesticides, improper use of Fertilizers and chemicals in environment are some others contributing factors which challenged the life of man, animals specially birds and other organisms.

Raising environment awareness involves transferring the technical language of a natural science or related field into terms and ideas that are non-scientist can readily understand. It also involves doing it in a way that is entertaining and interesting to the public. What best occasion is to enthuse and imbibe this culture and awareness than this forth coming Ganesh festival which is celebrated with much joy and fanfare? As they say, old habits die hard – The chances of changing the living habits of adults is much harder as we were born in a different times and our old habits do really require a conscious and constant education and a sustained campaign which is being pursued at different levels and methods. Hence we thought imbibing.
The environmental friendly ideas and tasks in children are more effective and have a longer life span in terms of sustainability of strengthening the young minds.

The idea is to help the young ones to realize the potential as effective activists for raising environmental awareness, as well as champions of knowledge, positive attitudes towards the environment and competency in citizen action skills. Movements, which begin at grass root levels, effects the ideologies and politics of a country or the nation as a whole more effectively than the policies introduced from top to downwards.

Hence we Rotary club of Greater Hyderabad with the proactive support and cooperation of Jagisa Packaging Industries have come out with distribution of Clay Idols on cost to cost basis in place of Paris idols which are causing irreversible damage to the environment through soil contamination. During this one particular festivity alone the damage caused by POP idols is incalculable.

We request your much needed help and cooperation to spread the awareness among the Children of your school by availing the opportunity to install only Clay Idols which will be distributed at
